Therefore the idea of painting an African landscape mural. Painting a landscape mural is also a great way of opening out the space and creating the feel of a larger room. To enhance this effect I painted white clouds on the blue ceiling.
The wall this mural was painted on is a standard bedroom wall with the length of approximately 3.5m and the height of 2.5m.
It is one of my favorite murals, I really enjoyed painting these fantastic African animals, with 2-3 international visitors included like the colorful toucan.
This mural I painted as a feature wall for a kids bedroom. Together with my clients we wanted to create a room that would be suitable either for a little girl or a boy. It also had to be fairly neutral and time-less so that as the child's taste changes as she or he grows up they wouldn't get tired of the mural.
