This mural or trompe l'oeil was commissioned for a small court yard in a house in Edithvale (Melbourne) at Port Phillip Bay. The court yard has an out door setting and a BBQ which made the room feel really closed in. This mural being a window mural opened the space a little while connecting the court yard with the sea side of the house. The wall was rendered which also gave the mural a canvas like texture.
